Glamping Canyonlands Adventure Retreat

Difficulty Level: 2 (Moderate)

4 Days / 3 Nights

Disconnect with us for 4 days and 3 nights at a completely off-grid camp with glamping tents and pods, each uniquely decorated and one of a kind. Although there’s no electricity, you will have all the comfortable essentials needed (including bathrooms with heated water) to fully enjoy a weekend in nature. Our days will be full of fun activities out in nature, and soul-nourishing activities in camp. We’ll explore drastically different landscapes of southern Utah, spending a day in the red-rock desert and another in the forest.

If you’ve ever wanted to go on a technical 4x4 drive through a National Park, well this is your opportunity! A team of experienced guides from Navtec Expeditions will take us on a full day excursion to Chesler Park in the heart of the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park where we’ll be hitting up some of the most renowned challenging 4x4 trails of Southeast Utah. These remote locations which are only accessible by hiking many miles or taking high-clearance off-road vehicles will feel like our personal playground. We will have the option to do a 3-mile hike and explore this area by foot (or relax around the vehicles) for both a physically and visually fulfilling day!

As an all-around animal lover, I’ve got to say I’m incredibly excited about another activity we have in store for the group! We’ll be going on a guided hike with another husband and wife duo who have gained a ton of experience in the outdoors as Park Rangers, Naturalists, Wilderness EMT, and U.S. Marine corps veteran, and are now owners of a trained herd of trekking pack goats. Their knowledge of the land will take us to a lesser-known trail that goes through several forest types with spectacular mountain views and ends at a 1000 yr-old cluster of cliff dwellings, all of this accompanied by their furry friends!

At camp we’ll have plenty of opportunities to relax and soak-in the peace of the land, with hammocks dispersed throughout camp, lounge chairs overlooking the scenery and a wood-burning barrel sauna. Like I said, you’ll have all the amenities you could possibly need and more! You’ll also be invited to connect with the group with fun games and nighttime circles around the fire.

If all of this sounds like something that will make your heart happy, continue reading!
